School District #23 wrestlers saw their first action of the season this past Saturday. They competed at the Salmon Arm Slam Wrestling Tournament which was held at Sullivan Secondary School in Salmon Arm on December the 10th.Tristan Ferguson, a grade ten student at Kelowna Secondary School, dominated his opponents with four straight wins by pins, to win the 85 kilogram weight class. Burgess Brothers Bring Home HardwareKeaton Burgess, a grade 8 student at KLO Middle School, and Bryson Burgess, a grade 12 student at Kelowna Secondary, both wrestled their way to the podium at the recent BC School Wrestling Championships.
